You Birth How You Live

This New York Times article openly explains the author’s personal experience with her birth and why she became a doula. I love how she encourages every birthing woman to empower herself with a close birth team! We all know, as strong women, that asking questions to our medical professionals is important. However, it can be challenging if they are not in the space to hear us or they won’t provide space for making it comfortable to ask such questions. I’m glad Domino Kirke explains how it is also challenging to ask questions when you don’t know what to ask.
